My Background
My interest in art started in high school and was a big part of who I was . For many years uninspiring jobs and life commitments lead my path away from art. In a desperate attempt to reskill and gain new employment I studied art therapy which reignited my passion for art and put me back on to the path of becoming an artist

I used to only work with acrylics and sketching, but while, studying art therapy I began experimenting with other mediums. My absolute favourite now is oil pastels, I love the tactile experience of using them. I also recently began using oil paints which is quickly becoming a favourite especially for the landscape art which includes sunsets and sunrises.

Colour, I absolutely love Colour. I'm inspired by landscape photography, especially when they include sunsets and sunrises. Friends send me the most amazing photos of our beautiful Lake Illlawarra, the escarpment and our beautiful beaches that I replicate and bring to life through landscape art.
